Con masiva asistencia este miércoles 15 de agosto por parte de los comerciantes de la localidad 18 Rafael Uribe Uribe, y con la presencia de tres concejales de Bogotá, funcionarios de Fenalco, Personería local, alcalde encargado, comandante de policía  y ediles de la localidad 18, se llevo a cabo el debate para escuchar las problemáticas de los comerciantes citados por los ediles Roberto Esquivel y Jaime Cardona; la sesión que se  mantuvo hasta la 1:30 PM estuvo presidida por Christian González presidente de la comisión de Gobierno.

Los empresarios y comerciantes del sector se encuentran ya cansados de los comparendos y cierres de sus establecimientos de comercio, ya que en los operativos de la policía que son frecuentes en sus UPZ se les obliga a cerrar sus negocios por no cumplir supuestamente con la normatividad vigente,  un documento que autoriza el estudio de suelo para el desarrollo de su actividad comercial, sin embargo todo obedece a que a la fecha no se ha presentado el Plan de ordenamiento territorial, que habilite el comercio en el sector.

Por estas razones los comerciantes se ven continuamente perjudicados por las multas, y sellamiento de sus establecimientos hasta por 90 días, y algunos han sido obligados a cerrar antes de la hora autorizada; también los comerciantes argumentaron tener miedo de las autoridades de policía ya que apenas ven a algún tipo de uniformados o funcionarios distritales bajan sus rejas por temor a una multa o al sellamiento de sus comercios.
